Why we built Nodary

Every ambitious project (a game, a film, a product, a research programme) generates a constellation of documents. In most tools, those documents pile up in folders: disconnected, contradicting each other, and slowly going stale. Nodary treats them as a living, linked system that people and their AI agents read and write together.

We build it for game studios first, because that is what we are: the game design documents, balance spreadsheets, art reviews, string tables and dialogue of a game in one linked workspace. Nothing in it requires a game, and any team that writes linked documentation can use it.

Nodary was called Constellation until June 2026.

The studio behind it

Nodary is made by AnkleBreaker Studio and published by AnkleBreaker Consulting, a société par actions simplifiée based in Le Pecq, near Paris. We are a small, product-obsessed team that ships quickly and cares about the details (typography, motion, performance and privacy) that make software feel considered.

On its site, the studio describes itself as a “French indie games studio crafting immersive multiplayer worlds”. Its game, Mithrall, is described there as “A hardcore open-world PvP sandbox with full-loot death”, and marked in development. Its public repositories are on GitHub, under AnkleBreaker-Studio, whose profile reads “Game studio & MCP toolsmiths”. The most starred of them, the Unity MCP Server, is described as “Connect Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client to Unity Editor & Unity Hub”; it had 525 stars on 23 October 2026. Nodary’s own MCP server speaks the same protocol.

Founder and company

François Cugy founded AnkleBreaker Consulting in 2022 and is its President. In that capacity he is the director of publication of nodary.ai, as the legal notice states.

What we believe

• Your work is yours. You own your content; we never use it to train models.
