Bring your documents in with their links, and take them out whole.
Drop a Notion export, an Obsidian vault, Confluence or Word pages, a folder of Markdown or an Excel workbook, and see the tree before anything is created; nothing happens until you confirm. Links between files become links between documents. When you leave, a project goes out as one .zip with its files, its sources and links that still work.

A Notion or Confluence export, cleaned up
Export from Notion as HTML, or as Markdown and CSV, and drop the exported folder. Notion’s long ids leave every title and link, callouts and toggles stay callouts and headings, a page’s properties become a spec block, and a database becomes a sheet with its rows as the pages under it. Confluence’s HTML pages lose their space prefix and keep their notes, panels and expands. Pages keep their nesting: a page with subpages becomes a document with documents under it, and the export’s pictures come in with their pages. A report lists every file left out, and why.
- Notion’s ids taken out of titles and links
- Databases as sheets, their rows as the pages under them
- Confluence notes, panels and expands kept
- A report of every file left out, with the reason
What it does not do An export is a copy: there is no live sync with Notion or Confluence, so a page changed there after the export does not change here.

An Obsidian vault with its links
Drop the vault as a folder or a .zip. Each note becomes a document, a note with a folder of the same name files that folder’s notes under it, [[wiki links]] and relative links become real links, embedded pictures come with them, and links that lead nowhere are listed before you import. Try it right here: the map on this page reads a folder of Markdown in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. It also lists the notes nothing links to and the most linked ones.
- [[Wiki links]] become links between documents
- Embedded pictures come with their notes
- Titles from front matter, the first heading or the file name
What it does not do One import takes up to 200 documents and 300 media files; a larger vault goes in over several imports.
Word, HTML, Markdown and spreadsheets
Word files and HTML pages keep their headings, lists, tables, callouts and code, and a Word file’s pictures come in beside it. A CSV file or an Excel workbook comes in with a preview: choose the sheet, check each column’s type and keep leading zeros. Paste from Google Docs, Word or a spreadsheet and get headings, lists, tables or a sheet; paste a screenshot and get a picture. In a folder, each CSV file becomes a document holding a sheet, and a long Word specification can come in whole, then be split into linked pages as it grows.
- Word files with their pictures
- Excel and CSV with a preview of each column
- Structured paste from Docs, Word and spreadsheets
What it does not do Pictures in EMF, WMF or TIFF stay out of a Word import and the report says so; pictures inside pasted text do not come with it.

Leave whole: exports that come back
Export a document as Markdown, a Word file, JSON, CSV tables or an editable PowerPoint with native tables and charts, or print it to PDF from a real page preview with contents and page numbers. Take a whole project in one .zip: every document in Markdown with its files, editable sources for diagrams, boards and sheets, and links that work offline. That archive imports back into Nodary. Each document’s Markdown keeps its headings, lists, tables and links, so it reads well in any editor or in Git, and a document can also be presented as 16:9 slides and saved as a PDF.
- Markdown, Word, JSON, CSV and editable PowerPoint
- PDF from a paged preview with contents and page numbers
- A whole project as one .zip, links included
What it does not do Exports are files you download: there is no live sync to Google Drive, Notion or another tool.

Let an agent bring in the rest
An agent can move a list from anywhere into Nodary: create_stars makes up to 25 documents in one call, write_document fills one from Markdown, link_stars draws the links between them with a reason, and start_upload sends a file such as a render, a .psd or a .glb, while get_file_url hands a link back. A retry with the same key never writes twice. Ask it afterwards to compare the new documents with the old list and say what is missing.

Questions
How do I import a Notion export?
In Notion, export the workspace or a page as HTML, or as Markdown and CSV, with its subpages. In Nodary, open the import window on a project’s map and drop the exported folder: you see the tree first, and nothing is created until you confirm. Then the documents, their links and their files are created; linked pages keep their links to each other, and databases become sheets.
Does an Obsidian vault keep its links?
Yes. [[Wiki links]] and relative links between notes become links between documents, embedded pictures come with them, and links that lead nowhere are listed in the preview. Titles come from front matter, the first heading or the file name, and a note with the same name as a folder becomes that folder’s page. Embedded pictures can be PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, AVIF or SVG.
Can I import from Confluence?
Yes, from Confluence’s HTML export of a space: pages keep their headings, lists, tables, code, notes and panels, expands become a heading with their content, and the space’s name leaves each title. There is no live connection to Confluence or Jira.
How much can one import take?
Up to 200 documents and 300 media files, each picture up to 50 MB; a larger export goes in over several imports. Documents count toward the plan: the Free plan holds ten documents and folders, Pro and Studio have no document limit. The preview says when an import would pass your plan’s limit, before anything is created.
Does an import overwrite what is already there?
Never. A file whose title matches a document of the project either reuses that document, the imported pages under it going under it, or comes in as a second document with a numbered title; you choose in the preview, and nothing existing is ever overwritten.
Can I take everything out again?
Yes. A project exports as one .zip with every document in Markdown, its files, editable sources for diagrams, boards and sheets, and links that work offline. A document exports as Markdown, a Word file, JSON, CSV, an editable PowerPoint or a PDF. Exports stay open on every plan, even in a workspace locked at the end of its trial until it subscribes.
