Cookie Policy
The small files Nodary stores in your browser, and why. Spoiler: only the ones we genuinely need.
1In short
Nodary sets the cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the service: to keep you signed in, remember which workspace you are in, and protect the sign-in flow. We also set a single first-party analytics cookie, but only if you accept it. We use no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.
2Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session | Keeps you signed in. An encrypted, http-only token that identifies your authenticated session. | Strictly necessary | Up to 30 days |
| Active workspace | Remembers which workspace you are currently working in. | Strictly necessary | Session / persistent |
| Sign-in state | A short-lived value that protects the single sign-on flow against cross-site request forgery. | Strictly necessary | ~10 minutes |
| Analytics consent | Records whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask again and we honour your choice. | Consent (set on your choice) | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics visitor | A random first-party identifier used to count unique and returning visitors and measure aggregate usage. Set only if you accept. No advertising, no third parties, no raw IP stored. | Analytics (only with consent) | Up to 12 months |
3Local storage
Within the application, we use your browser’s local storage to remember interface preferences (such as your canvas view and panel sizes). This data stays on your device, is not a cookie, and is not sent to any third party.
4Third-party cookies
When you make a payment, you are taken to our processor, Stripe, which may set its own cookies necessary to process the transaction securely and to prevent fraud. That processing is governed by Stripe’s own policies. We embed no third-party advertising or social-media trackers in the Service.
5Controlling cookies
You can accept or decline analytics in our cookie banner. To change your mind later, clear Nodary's cookies for this site in your browser settings (this removes the analytics consent and visitor cookies, and the banner will appear again so you can choose afresh). You can also delete or block cookies entirely through your browser, though blocking the strictly-necessary cookies above will prevent you from signing in and using the Service. For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
