Shipped

Linked documents and the map

  • Every document of a project on one map, filed in folders you open like clusters, with columns as a second way to browse.
  • Links that say why (related, inspired by, blocks, depends on), and backlinks: each document lists what links to it.
  • The whole map arranged in one go, filtered or coloured by what is yours, overdue or due this week.
  • A truth status on each document (canon, exploration, obsolete, superseded), told to agents before they read it.
  • Contradictions between two documents shown word for word, resolved only when you ask.

Writing

  • A block editor with 30 kinds of blocks, the keyboard shortcuts you know, and real-time co-editing.
  • A version for each editing session and every agent write, to compare and restore, and a 30-day trash.
  • 30 built-in templates in 12 languages, daily notes, and any document saved as a template.
  • Search across every document from Ctrl+K, landing on the passage.
  • Find and replace in a document or across a project, with a preview, and blocks moved into a new linked document.
  • An outline to jump to any section, a word count, folded sections, and an owner on each checklist item.
  • YouTube, Vimeo, Loom and Figma played inside a document.
  • Share links for a document, a branch or a workspace, with an end date or none, and rights per document.

Organising

  • Documents and folders duplicated, folders moved to another project with their documents, and projects archived.
  • Undated work planned from a drawer beside the calendar.

Sheets, data and views

  • Spreadsheets inside documents, with about 60 functions, charts, highlights, and Excel or CSV import with a preview.
  • Typed properties and live views of any set of documents: list, table, board, gallery, timeline and progress.
  • A read-only data feed of sheets and string tables, as JSON, CSV, .po or XLIFF.

Planning and reviews

  • Assignees, due dates, a calendar and a schedule, with one rule for what is overdue.
  • A burn-up that says whether a milestone lands by its date, and cut lines by budget.
  • Review requests answered with approve or request changes, signed with who and when; a note with the request, withdrawing it, and seeing when an approved document has changed since.
  • Notifications in a bell, grouped by date or project, with mutes; a daily email digest in your morning, what waits for you on Home, and reminders to the assignee around a due date.
  • Review requests and decisions posted to Slack or Discord, as you choose.

Visual work

  • Mermaid diagrams, boards with frames you present, moodboards, and colour palettes with contrast checks.
  • Picture review with notes drawn on the picture, signed decisions, versions and a printable feedback sheet.
  • 3D models (glTF), video and sound with notes at a moment, and files up to 250 MB.

For game studios

  • Drop rates with pity, string tables exported for Unity, Unreal and Godot, branching dialogue exported to Yarn Spinner, and Fountain screenplays.

AI and agents

  • Studio AI in the app, in three modes, saying what each answer did and what it cost in Comets.
  • The team's instructions to Studio AI and the notes it keeps, open to every member and edited by the team; PDF and picture attachments to a question; the history of conversations.
  • A remote MCP server on every plan, with more than 90 tools, OAuth or API keys, and one connection for several workspaces.
  • Context briefs from up to 12 sources, which say what changed since you copied them and travel as Markdown.

Import and export

  • Import of Markdown folders, Obsidian vaults, Notion exports, Word and HTML files and spreadsheets, with a preview first.
  • Export to Markdown, to Word, to PDF from a real page preview, to an editable PowerPoint, and as a whole-project archive.

Teams and security

  • Workspaces with roles, seats, invitations and access requests, and projects kept to their people on Studio.
  • Two-step verification with backup codes you can renew, an email when a new device signs in, session management, and an audit log for owners and admins.
  • Your time zone, the editor's font and density, and members' last activity.
  • An interface in 12 languages, Arabic right to left, with phone layouts, installable from the browser.

  • A drop-rate calculator, a document map for Markdown folders and Obsidian vaults, and a free game design document template, in 12 languages.
