Know if the Alpha lands, and what changed while you were away.
A progress view draws the burn-up of any set of documents toward your target date. Add live boards, tables and timelines, a cut line on a day budget, and a note that says what changed since your last visit.

A producer could see where a milestone stood today, never where it was heading. Documents in Nodary now carry the fields production runs on, live views gather them, and since 29 September every status change is recorded, so a burn-up can say whether the Alpha milestone lands.
Are we landing?
Type / and add a Live view to a document, point it at a set, such as a project, a tag, a person or Milestone is Alpha, and show it as Progress with a target date. It shows what is finished against the scope, today’s statuses in one bar, the burn-up with a projection at the current pace, the weekly pace beside the pace you need, and what is left, the late documents first, each with who has it. The verdict is on time, late with a date, too early to tell, or done.
Fields, views and a cut line
A project gives its documents typed properties, such as a choice, a number with a unit, a date or a person, from presets like an asset pipeline, bug triage or quests. A live view shows any set as a list, a table, a board of columns you drag cards between, a gallery, or a timeline placed by due date or by an in-world year. In a list or a table, a cut line stops where the estimates pass a budget in days or points, and what falls below is dimmed. A link labelled blocks or depends on becomes a blocker, drawn on the map.
What changed since your last visit
Open a document others changed since you last read it, and a note above it says what changed and who did it. One click opens the history on the version you saw, compared with now, the changed words marked, and a single block can be brought back on its own. Typing in a shared document now saves versions too, credited to whoever typed. The activity feed records status changes, assignments, due dates, moves, renames, reviews, picture decisions and comments.
Which documents are the truth
Mark a document canon, exploration, obsolete, or superseded by another. Obsolete and superseded stars fade on the map and say so above their text, with a link to what replaced them. In the AI panel, Check against the canon compares the open document with the canon and quotes both passages of each contradiction, without changing anything.
Try it in your workflow
- Give the Alpha documents a Milestone property, an assignee and a due date.
- Add a Live view to a planning document and filter it to Milestone is Alpha.
- Show it as Progress and set the target date.
- Show the same set as a table sorted by priority, and set a cut line at your day budget.
Status history starts on 29 September 2026, so the burn-up does not guess the pace before then and needs a week of history to give one. Scope counts each document from the day it was created, since tags and properties have no history. A timeline does not schedule: moving one document never shifts those that depend on it. There is no sync with Jira, Linear or GitHub, and changes to custom properties are not in the activity feed.
