Your export settings, remembered.

Paper, margins, title page, wide content and the project export format now stay as you left them, on every device, and never follow how you like to read on screen.

Nodary PDF preview reopened with Letter paper and wide margins, noting that choices are kept, with a Standard setup link
Inside Nodary · Demonstration data

If you print on Letter with wide margins, you should not have to say so every time. Export settings are now kept with your account, and they stay separate from the way you read.

Set once, used every time

The PDF preview remembers the paper, orientation, margins, contents, title page, section breaks and wide-content setting you last chose, and opens the next document with them. The project export remembers whether you took the complete archive, a single Markdown file or structured data. Your choices are saved on your account, so they follow you from one device to another.

A shared link keeps its own setup

A preview link that carries its settings still opens exactly as it was shared, whatever your own choices. When the preview is not on the standard setup, a Standard setup link puts everything back and forgets what was remembered.

Reading and exporting stay separate

A dark reading surface, another typeface, larger text or a wider column change how you read on screen, not what you hand over. Exported pages keep the same white paper, fonts and pagination whatever your reading appearance or workspace theme.

Try it in your workflow

  1. Open the PDF preview of the demonstration document.
  2. Choose Letter and wide margins.
  3. Reopen the preview: the same choices are already there.
  4. Choose Standard setup to go back to A4 and normal margins.
Try the example

Settings are saved on your account shortly after you change them; the demonstration keeps them in this browser only. Several tabs can change different settings at once without erasing each other. Settings in a shared link apply to that link only and do not change what is remembered until you change something yourself.
